Tiny Terror, Big Vibes… MINI MUERTO Pocket-Size Toy Show!

Halloween into December - Yes indeed as it's going pocket-sized this year. MINI MUERTO: Pocket Size Halloween Toy Show is set to bring big stories to a tiny scale with a curated international exhibition focused entirely on micro designer toys. Curated by RESINWORX CUSTOMLAB and hosted by PLAYROOM Novelty Shop, the show will run from November 15 to December 6, 2025 at Chapterhouse Café and Creative Hub in Sikatuna Village, Diliman, Quezon City.

The concept behind MINI MUERTO is all about proving that even the smallest toys can carry massive impact. Every piece in the show will measure roughly 3" to 4" tall, emphasizing detail, personality, and creativity in a size that literally fits in the palm of your hand. These “tiny terrors” channel the playful, spooky energy of Halloween while spotlighting just how expressive micro-scale figures can be.

The theme draws inspiration from Halloween and the idea of muerto—not in a grim way, but as a playful nod to traditions that honor the afterlife across cultures. Here, that spirit is transformed into something collectible, fun, and approachable, as artists reinterpret ghosts, monsters, spirits, and oddities through their own visual languages. MINI MUERTO will bring together 30 artists and designer toy makers from Mexico, the USA, Thailand, and the Philippines, creating a truly international lineup. Each artist brings their own cultural background and storytelling style to the table, resulting in a diverse mix of designs that cross borders but connect through a shared love of character-driven toys.

A key goal of the show is accessibility. By focusing on pocket-size figures, the event keeps things friendly for both established collectors and those just stepping into the world of designer toys. Prices and scale are intentionally more approachable, making it easier for people to start or grow their collections with original works straight from the artists.
