WHAT'S NEW

Pre-orders open for Toyverse’s stunning painted 'Alien Chibull' release!

Toyverse has officially launched the Toyverse Premium Complete Series – Exquisite Painted Edition, transforming classic soft-vinyl kits from the legendary Billiken Shokai into fully painted art figures. The first release in the series, Alien Chibull from Ultraseven, is now available for pre-order through January 5, 2026, offering collectors a rare chance to experience a Showa-era fan favorite reimagined with contemporary craftsmanship.
Originally sculpted by Satoshi Hashimoto in 2002 as an unpainted Billiken kit, Alien Chibull has been revived under Toyverse supervision as a finished vinyl figure featuring richly layered paintwork, detailed shading, and striking sculptural presence. The goal isn’t just nostalgia… it’s to elevate sofubi to the realm of fine art by presenting iconic designs with gallery-level finish and depth. Based on the Ultraseven Episode 9 villain known for his intelligence and reality-bending invasion plot, Alien Chibull’s elegant, abstract seashell-like head and eerie minimalist form continue to influence sculptors decades later. The new painted edition preserves that original design language while adding professional finishing touches, making this a standout entry for Ultraman and sofubi collectors alike.
Pre-orders placed through Toyverse’s online shop include a limited-edition exclusive sticker, and this first release marks the beginning of a continuing project to rejuvenate classic Billiken Shokai sculpts with modern paint application and presentation. Alien Chibull stands 28cm tall and is priced at ¥27,500($176). The pre-order window runs November 27, 2025 – January 5, 2026, with Toyverse overseeing production and distribution in collaboration with Billiken Shokai, Plex, and Tsuburaya Productions. Collectors can secure their piece and learn more at Toyverse’s official website, with full product details available at the pre-order page HERE right now...
