“Year Thirteen” art toy sculpture from Frank Montano!

Artist Frank Montano was recently asked by Gallery Ergo, a a local gallery, located at the historic Pike Place Market in Seattle Washington, to participate in a group show titled "Cyanoscope"... he said of course, but as Frank states "I gave myself one stipulation to follow and that is that this project has to be created from passion. I think I navigated it smoothly!" He then continues to say "Two things that I love are the deep emotional feelings humans experience and designing 3D artwork. And I wanted to convey them in this project." Something very different from Frank, and you can tell this specific project means something important to him.

Featuring a beautifully rendered heart that is encapsulated in a CYAN icy exoskeleton that is being held by a black skeleton like hand, this piece really evokes so much emotion! Frank continues to share "The number 13 is said to be an unlucky. And as those years pass so can our experience for love. They seem to be in deaths hands. Will our hearts freeze up and hold you back from greater potential or will it thaw and ignite something bigger within yourself. This project allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and express myself in a new way." I personally love this piece and would love for Frank to continue to explore this in his art!
