Hirota Saigansho’s Soft Vinyl Kaiju Exhibition is Coming!

Yasuaki Hirota of Hirota Saigansho, sometimes credited as HxS, has announced his first solo showcase, Soft Vinyl Kaiju Exhibition. Taking place at the Megumi Ogita Gallery (2-16-12 B1 Ginza Chuo-Ku, Tokyo 104-0061 Japan) with an opening reception on October 7th, 2017, the pictured poster for the event shows Hirota's "King Gorilla-ju" ape monstrosity battling with what could be a stylized rendition of his "Kraken" sea creature. Or, perhaps, it is teasing something new. Yes, Hirota has announced that a brand new kaiju creation will debut at the exhibition, which will not be sold "first come, first served" but rather in an undisclosed manner to benefit true fans, including those that travel a long distance to attend the opening. So start buying your plane tickets, folks, as it is unlikely that anything will remain unsold after the opening night! Though all pieces will remain on display until October 14th, so all can at least enjoy seeing them.
