Retroband's "The Hitch-Hiker MEATS" for Creepshow 2!

A bloody rain slicker and cap alongside a sign that reads "You Killed Me" are our teaser's for the Retroband Toys contribution to this year's Creepshow 2 exhibition. And while I'm sure someone out there is guessing that this is Retroband's Aaron Moreno's tribute to I Know What You Did Last Summer, it actually is -- shocker -- inspired by the 1987 film Creepshow 2! Or, more precisely, by one of the segments: The Hitch-Hiker. If you're unfamiliar, I strongly suggest watching it. With these pieces made to fit on Moreno's 12-inch tall "MEATS" figure, there appears to be only three being handmade by the artist for the showcase, each with a hand-painted header card featuring the famous "DOVER" signage from the film. With the Creepshow 2 exhibition, curated by Kyle Renard (Secret Demon Services) and Matthew Trotter (Matt.Blak), opening on July 22nd, 2017 at 10am local time, those unable to make it to Artofficial (29 Kirkgate, Leeds LS2 7DR) should email secretdemonservices [at] gmail [dot] com to find out how to purchase pieces remotely.
