Junko Mizuno Unveils Hand-Painted AP Sets of “JUNKONOTOMO” Sofubi Figures!

Fans of Junko Mizuno’s unique and hauntingly whimsical art have a rare opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind collectible. On Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 8:00 PM (PDT), a limited drop of Artist Proof (AP) versions of her JUNKONOTOMO sofubi series will be released through the official eBay store. Originally released in 2019 in a limited run of 50 sets via Tomenosuke Japan, the Dark Gray & Red edition of JUNKONOTOMO is now returning in a special, artist-personalized form. Each figure has been individually hand-painted by Junko herself, featuring striking black and gold enhancements applied in acrylic, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Each set includes five sofubi figures ranging in size from 7–8 cm tall (approximately 3 inches). They are signed and numbered by the artist and come with a certificate of authenticity, a hand-drawn mini marker sketch (also signed and numbered), a “Chocolate” postcard, and three exclusive stickers.
