Ron English × Made by Monsters × JPS Gallery's "Sun Flowers" Sculpture "!

With Spring just around the corner, those of us in traditionally colder climates are eagerly awaiting the of the sunflowers… or, if you're Ron English, you make your own "Sun Flowers" to burst forth. Limited to 333 pieces, English's "Sun Flowers" come in three varieties: "Smiley" (33 pieces), "Grin" (100 pieces), and a parody of Spongebob Squarepants, "3-Eyed Sponge" (200 pieces). Produced by Made by Monsters exclusively for the Hong Kong and Japan-based JPS Gallery, these roughly 16½-inch tall metal and vinyl sculptures are set to debut as an installation at JPS's Art Fair Tokyo booth. And if you happen to be in Tokyo from March 16th-19th, AFT2017 will at Tokyo International Forum, Hall E, and JPS's booth will be N21. For those that can't attend and pick one of these fantastic flowers in person, a limited number have been set aside for online sale of the $510 apiece works.
