KAWS × Mira Mikati’s Varsity Jackets from Collette!

Holy price point, KAWS-fans! I know that I feel like KAWS lovers get the short end of the stick sometimes, especially when it comes to retail prices, but this is ridiculous… For her summer 2016 catalog, designer Mira Mikati signed a collaborative agreement with Brooklyn-based artist Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS, to explore his colorful universe on an exclusive array of varsity jackets. The kicker? They cost roughly $1249 apiece! Available in three designs, two of which are pictured, these are silk printed and embroidered varsity jackets, with striped knit rib edges and button closures. Available for pre-order from Collette in France, these can be purchased until October 25th, 2015 with an anticipated mailing date of February 8, 2016.
