Having happened in Dallas this past weekend, "The Vinyl Thoughts Art Show 5: MAD*L Makers" — organized by
Vinyl Thoughts — featured a fantastic array of customized MAD*L figures, including the above pictured piece by
ARTBOT138. Titled "VINYL²," this piece obviously takes some degree of inspiration from the customs of Marka27 — known for his addition of speaker systems to vinyl works — but A
RTBOT138 wholly makes this his own by including the tiny turntable and converting the interior of the head into a shelving space for LPs. And I love the reproduced LP sleeves in tiny scale!
