Do you have turtle fever?!?! The Loyal Subjects Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3" vinyl figures announced!!!

Would you look at this?!?! It appears that hot off the heels of Kidrobot announcing that they acquired the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles license and plan on releasing a blind box series of vinyl figures, the folks over at The Loyal Subjects were able to acquire the same exact license to produce their own interpretation of these 'Heroes in a half shell'... and above is the vector art with ratio's along with a nice 3D rendering to prove it! Spotted over on BBTS, These 3" figures are ball jointed and will feature articulation at Head, Shoulder, Hands, Legs, and Ankles... not to mention come with a whole slew of accessories! These are going to be blind boxed as well and have a street release date of somewhere around September, 2014 - with an estimated retail price of around $13 a pop. It's interesting to see both companies releasing pretty much the same product - although the Kidrobot figs are more of a rad nostalgic throwback to the 90's cartoon, and these TLS figs are a little more on the gritty serious side - but what's even more interesting, is the fact the Nickelodeon licensed TNMT to both companies knowing full well that they will be producing 3", blind boxed, vinyl figures. I guess cash is king... and anything to help promote the upcoming release of that new motion picture is highly encouraged.
