WHAT'S NEW

Ajee's custom Deadbeet for Scott Tolleson x Toy Art Gallery Show!

Pictured above is French artist Ajee's contribution to the previously announced Toy Art Gallery group show specific to Scott Tolleson's Deadbeet platform. Having radically reworked the base on the 7.5-inch tall sofubi figure into something more resembling her angular style, the true hero here is the minimalist dashing pattern (which she uses to denote fur typically) and the way it swoops around the figure. Not the most complexly crafted custom, but a gorgeous piece of fine art creativity.

The Deadbeet Group Custom Show will open on June 29th and be on display until July 21st, 2013 at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
