Retrograde Works custom 'Squidling' Foomi

Having never heard of the artist Retrograde Works, it's always nice to open up an email to some new talent as she sent over a rad little custom entitled ‘Squidling’ that was created on the 4” Munnyworld Foomi vinyl toy platform. According to Retrograde, she’s available for purchase in her webshop HERE for $65.... quite a good deal if you ask me. I love the attention to detail on the face and eyes, it's seriously dreamy... but I feel like the rest of the figure is/was rushed, and would love to see the amount of detail and time put forth on the entire piece, rather than the face... that being said, the lack of detail on the body really does make the face pop... so that might just be the intention behind it. In any case, it's a great custom for $65 and it comes in a custom box with a signed 4"x6” print of the vector artwork that inspired her design.
