WHAT'S NEW

Alex Pardee x Kidrobot Black's "DigesTED" revealed... with hi-res images!!!

We here at SpankyStokes.com have been really excited about the new forthcoming figure from Kidrobot (previously posted HERE and HERE), as they teamed up with Alex Pardee for their latest 'Black' project titled "DigesTED"... but up until this point, all we have seen are low-res, crappy photos... well, that's changed as we got our hand on some hi-res images and as you can see above (click to make BIG) this new figure is chalked full of amazing detail! Standing at around 6" tall, limited to a mere 250 copies... all of which are hand-numbered with Pardee's signature engraved on the underside, this piece is set for release on March 28th, 2013 at 12pm EST and will retail for the extraordinary price of only $200!
The gift that keeps on taking. Lifelong friend or enemy? Everything has a secret life. Behind the scenes, in the dark when no one's watching, what do we know of even our best of friends? Waiting motives always reveal themselves, tearing through the mock exteriors that build trust and perfect traps.

This once cozy demon is having his day, powered by the horror of its prior owner and already onto its next victim. The veneer is stripped away to reveal the terrifying truth. Something wicked this way came - not through a hard knock on the door or from the corner of your eye, but freely accepted, as a gift, a trusted companion for cold nights and hot fears.

It's not the dark that's scary. It's your friends in the dark you should be worried about.
I for one am really stoked for this, and it seems like KR has been hearing the cries of their fans as they have lowered the price point of this latest 'Black' figure. Do keep in mind that with the lower cost, you also get a much smaller figure - compared to the other KRblack releases - but then again, this beast is very stout.
The packaging is really nice and features a die-cut slip cover with Alex's signature contrasting in gloss on top a matte black box... simple, elegant, and just right! I absolutely love the use of red/gray as accent colors along with the usage of gloss/matte... and I have a feeling you all feel the same way. So who's digging this piece... are you gonna get one?
