WHAT'S NEW

*REVIEW* Huck Gee's "The Art of Huck Gee"

So since we just talked about Huck Gee's latest custom release... why not talk about Huck a little bit more, I am sure he won't mind :-) Recently released, and still available at designer vinyl retail shops around the world, Huck's first book - "The Art of Huck Gee" - kicked things off for 2012 in a HUGE way, as Huck went out on a 11-city signing tour that spanned from coast-to-coast to promote this brand new 6"x9", 150-page full color retrospective. That being said the book itself is really cool, and has so much great Huck imagery. For the avid Huck Gee fan to the casual collector, this book really has a ton of Western vinyl design history as Huck was at the forefront.

If you were one of the lucky attendees to one of the book signings, you had a crack at an exclusive "White" covered version, limited to only 800 pieces... which by the way you can find at some retail shops still. The one we received was more of the mass market "Red" covered version... and that is the only difference between the two! I mention in my LIVE video review above that the only thing I don't like about this book is the size, I would have liked to have seen it much larger as Huck's pieces are so detailed and feel kinda crammed in such a small aspect ratio... other that that, this book is dope and in my opinion, is a must if your into the designer toy scene... so make sure you at least snag one up! Huck has them in his online store HERE for only $30... and they come signed, so no excuses!
