Lisa Rae Hansen's custom for Sergey Safonov's Reimagining Moonfox exhibition!

Using the previously announced "Moonfox: All Plastic Model Kit" as a basis, Lisa Rae Hansen has created the pictured one-of-a-kind custom "I'll Take My Leave." Keeping the beautifully executed simplicity of the original, Hansen has expanded the visual to include arms and legs… a perfectly sculpted addition that transforms the design from a serene character drifting on a calm pond into a "character who has had enough of the troubled times and have picked up their boat to move on and look for calmer waters." Though that is Hansen's take on her own custom, I prefer to think of the piece as detailing a young imagineer who dreams of braving a storm of his own one day. Created for the upcoming Reimagining Moonfox group exhibition in Russia, this unique piece will surely become a grail for many a collector who miss buying it… and a treasure for the one that does nab it.
