WHAT'S NEW

"Adventure Awaits" for Amanda Louise Spayd, Kelly Denato, Lana Crooks & Miss Monster!

Scout ahead and forage through the dark forests on a woodland adventure! Embark on a quest through the wilds, guided by Amanda Louise Spayd, Kelly Denato, Lana Crooks, and Miss Monster (Melita Curphy). Will you uncover mysterious creatures worthy of adding to your cabinet of curiosities or will you be taken deeper into the thickets by something else entirely? The woods do not yield its treasures easily, you must choose your own adventurous path carefully… The rewards are great and the dangers are even greater. Good luck! Choose well.
Bringing the adventuresome spirit to artistic life, four lovely ladies — Amanda Louise Spayd, Kelly Denato, Lana Crooks, and Miss Monster (Melita Curphy) — will be doing a themed exhibition at The Clutter Gallery. All exploring the concept of… well… exploration, these fantastic works will not — per usual — be available to the Clutter Gallery Preview List first; rather those attending the opening on Saturday, April 12th from 6-9PM local time at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508 will have — first come, first served — dibs, with the Preview List members having first online chances to buy later that night. But onto the works!

Amanda Louise Spayd will have some of her fantastic dust bunnies on hand, sprouting in new and unusual ways we're told… as well as, quite probably, the final Dreamkeeper wall hanging pieces (below left) that will ever be produced!

Kelly Denato will not only have some of her fantastic paintings (detail teasers below) but also an "adventure crew" of sculptural pieces, including a "magical sleepy bunny thingy."

The Plushinator herself, Lana Crooks, is working on a new array of wool bird skulls and tiny heart/tree hybrids!

And the final contributor, Melita "Miss Monster" Curphy, is making some new beasties for all to enjoy, which seem to have highly detailed accessories (like this little fellas parchment map!)…

"Adventure Awaits," a four-lady exhibition of exploratory art endeavors, will open on Saturday, April 12th with a reception from 6-9PM local time and be on display until May 2nd, 2014 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
