**ON SITE** J★RYU's Magnificent Mega Munny Custom at Kidrobot LA!

I like to imagine that a hushed silence swept across the entirety Kidrobot's LA store as J★RYU put the finishing touches on his custom Mega Munny, made as part of a live artist painting event at the location. Perhaps he flicks his paintbrush upward in triumph, signaling to the gawking onlookers that the masterwork is complete… and, after a reverential pause to fully absorb the work, the hordes cheer for J★RYU. Or, as I said, I like to imagine that's what happened. Regardless, pictured above is the result of J★RYU's labor: the "Mega Sanctum"custom Munny. And a J★RYU reveal wouldn't be complete without a peek inside the head:

The turnout was grand, and there was a constant flow of fans coming and going for the entire 4 hour stint. Jesse took time to not only finish up this massive beast, but he also sketched, signed, and doodled for all that asked. The event was very chill, and really lent for a great interactive environment between artist and fan... you just gotta love the designer toy community. Big ups to Kidrobot LA for hosting such a nice event and to all that came out to support Jesse.
