Board Broken, Heart Broken... criiss’s Kokoro Swell Charm Tragedia Is Here!

Some wipeouts hurt your pride... this one hurts your heart! Artist criiss, the creator behind Kokoro Swell Charm, is back with the Tragedia series, a tiny resin tribute to the very real heartbreak of snapping a surfboard. The big-eyed little surfer and broken board turn a disastrous day at the beach into a seriously charming shelf companion!

Standing 2.7" (7cm) tall, this edition is limited to just 15 pieces. Each figure is handcrafted in resin, hand-painted with acrylics, and finished matte. The board comes separately in two pieces with connecting tabs; the artist recommends gluing them for a stronger hold. That little bit of assembly fits the story pretty perfectly... somebody has to pick up the pieces!

The packaging gets some love, too. Each Kokoro arrives in a custom-designed story box featuring written storytelling and illustrated comic panels, accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is a nice way to carry the character's world beyond the figure itself, especially for collectors who keep the box right alongside the toy.

Tragedia taps into the emotional side of surfing, from the rush of a great session to the frustration when your favorite board becomes two. Kokoro's name brings together heart, spirit, soul, and mind... and this version wears that broken-board disappointment right on its face. Cute, a little tragic, and very relatable for anybody who has watched a beloved piece of gear meet an untimely end!
