Nanan1's resin recycled robotic lamps

French artist Gaël Nanan Brienne aka Nanan1 has just shared with us some awesome new creations for his last show "Between three universes" at the Annie Wable Gallery, in Lille, France. These rad figures dubbed "Amaterasu" is a hybrid of a lamp and a toy... where the body is made of resin and the head is a recycled retro headlight, giving each one it's own personality. The piece is about 12" tall, is fully handpainted, works as a lamp, and he even created other versions where he used a 3A Bramble as the body... SWEET! I really dig the concept of using a recycled/found object as well as creating a resin body to house that said object... it's genius and the results are fantastic!
