Open Wide... Erik Fountain × Unbox Bring Doctor Tongue’s Gross-Out Glory to Soft Vinyl!

Some doctors make house calls... this one might eat the house! Erik Fountain gives Doctor Tongue from Day of the Dead a gloriously nasty toy makeover with Unbox Industries, turning the screen ghoul into a chunky soft vinyl collectible made for Mutant. The sculpt leans into exaggerated cartoon horror, mixing that spectacularly wrecked face with an outsized tongue and a wonderfully unpleasant grin. Unbox describes Fountain’s approach as a nod to the Playmates gross-out toy era... and that old-school toy-aisle appeal comes through loud and clear. Horror collectors with a soft spot for the ridiculous should get a kick out of this one.

Standing approximately 8.7" (22cm) tall, Doctor Tongue comes in a polybag with an illustrated header. There is also a bucket of guts included with each purchase, because apparently this fellow needed help making the shelf even more disgusting! This was first dropped at SDCC this year and now it finally found its way online.
