More Bear to Care... Seri Norica’s Care Bears Grow Into Larger Sofubi with Star Buddies!

More bear, more belly badges, and a little star-shaped friend for the shelf... Seri Norica (@serinorica)’s Care Bears are stepping into a larger soft vinyl format through MEDICOM TOY (@medicom_toy)! After the artist’s VAG-sized take on these familiar faces, this lineup gives that soft, rounded character treatment a little more room to shine.

The collection brings together Birthday Bear in yellow, Love-a-Lot Bear in pink, Wish Bear in light blue, Best Friend Bear in purple, and Sparkle Heart Bear in glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Five different personalities, plenty of color, and one that gets to keep the party going after the lights go out!

Each bear stands approximately 5.9" tall and comes with a matching Star Buddy measuring approximately 2". That tiny companion is a pretty sweet addition... a second little character to arrange beside the bear instead of an accessory that disappears into the packaging.

Seri Norica’s rounded shapes keep the figures playful while letting those familiar tummy symbols remain front and center. There’s something fun about seeing such recognizable characters through an artist’s own sculpting style. And with the larger format, collectors get a better look at the faces, proportions, and little details that can get overlooked in a tiny capsule toy.

The Japanese announcement lists each bear-and-Star-Buddy pairing at ¥9,900, including tax, with a November 2026 release through MEDICOM TOY TOKYO. The release announcement describes a quantity-limited lottery sale; watch the shop’s official notices for the application window and exact purchase instructions.

The official product listings show samples under supervision, so colors and shapes may change before release. These are the larger sofubi figures, rather than the separate VAG or UDF Care Bears lines... worth keeping straight when you’re tracking down the version you want!
