MindSponge Toy Deploys QuackTank, A Psychedelic Duck War Machine With Serious Vinyl Firepower!

MindSponge Toy just pulled the pin on its third finished production vinyl art toy, and this one is ready to waddle straight into the collector trenches. Meet QuackTank, the newest original character from the independent art and entertainment studio, manufactured by Flying Lulu and available now in a limited edition of just 100 pieces.

Originally developed as one of MindSponge Toy’s color carbon prototypes, QuackTank quickly became a standout after getting a huge response from the public. That energy pushed the character into full production, following the studio’s previous vinyl releases KaleidoBat and RoboSun, while bringing its biggest physical presence yet. Standing 8" tall, this armored duck is loaded with pop surrealism, psychedelia, retro-futurist details, and just enough sci-fi chaos to make it feel like a Saturday morning cartoon wandered into a secret weapons lab.

The design itself is wild in all the right ways... a bright yellow duck head, huge hypnotic eyes, an orange beak, green armored body, mechanical details, flipper feet, backpack gear, and a blaster accessory that gives the whole piece a playful but dangerous little edge. It is goofy, colorful, and totally locked into that MindSponge universe where strange characters feel like they are part toy, part cartoon, part band member, and part animated fever dream.

That bigger world is a major part of the story too. MindSponge Toy connects its characters through original music and animation, with theme songs for QuackTank, KaleidoBat, and RoboSun appearing on the debut album from the studio’s animated musical group, NeuroBloomz. Since launching its audience just two years ago, MindSponge Toy is approaching 74,000 Instagram followers, and since the NeuroBloomz debut album released on February 3, 2026, the project’s music has generated around 200,000 combined streams across SoundCloud, Spotify, and Apple Music.

The studio is also expanding into animation, music releases, and creative collaborations, building an interconnected world around its growing lineup of original characters. Next up, MindSponge Toy will make its first appearance at Collected Con on October 17, 2026 in Brooklyn, New York.
