Otto Björnik Expands The Burnout Parliament with “Blackout: No Hoots Given” Edition!
Otto Björnik returns to his ongoing Burnout Parliament series with a new colorway that feels less like a shout and more like a quiet exhale into darkness. Titled “Blackout: No Hoots Given”, this 6-inch resin figure captures that specific phase of burnout that doesn’t rage or resist… it simply powers down.
If you’ve been following The Daily Grind narrative Björnik has been building, you know this parliament of owls represents different states of mental fatigue. What started with No Hoots Given as a symbol of detachment and drifting apathy has grown into a full spectrum of burnout. Now standing alongside IDCAF, Fowl Mood, and the original No Hoots Given, Blackout represents the dimming phase… when urgency dissolves, thoughts blur, and the system goes dark just to survive... and honestly, this color comb is just classic - my favorite - can't go wrong with black/gold!
Visually, Blackout leans into a sleek, minimal palette. Drenched in deep black with muted gold accents, the owl stands upright, headphones on, coffee in hand, hoodie stamped with “BLACKOUT.” It’s still present. Still standing. But the eyes say it all. The lights are out. Not dramatic. Not explosive. Just the strange stillness when everything inside quietly shuts down.
Standing 6 inches tall and crafted from resin with acrylic detailing, this edition is limited to just 30 pieces worldwide. Each piece comes housed in a rigid box with protective foam and includes a sticker, collector card, certificate of authenticity, and a care card. Retail is set at $200 plus shipping, with pre-orders now open and shipping slated for March 6, 2026. Blackout doesn’t scream for attention. It doesn’t demand to be seen. It simply stands there… a quiet reminder that burnout isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just necessary silence.
