Alright y’all… how cute are these little wooden bots?!?! I’m seriously tripping over how rad this new release from
Loulou & Tummie is. Loulou has been grinding in the garden-shed woodshop, cranking out ELEVEN handmade wooden DROIDS and every single one looks like they’ve got their own weird lil' personality. I think the design is seriously cool... these shapes, those chunky legs, those robot eyes... it’s got that warm retro future vibe and I am very into it.
These aren’t machine-cut clones either… each DROID is hand crafted by Loulou, all one-of-one, so no two are exactly alike. Sizes vary between 3cm and 8cm (that’s roughly 1.2" to 3.1"), which is basically perfect shelf candy… small enough to tuck anywhere but still totally eye-catching. Like, imagine lining up a whole squad of these wooden bots across your desk… how cool is that?!?! I am super inspired by this design, like seriously love it. The full crew of 11 new DROIDS will be dropping in the webshop on Sunday, December 7th at 8pm CET so mark that calendar, set alarms, tie a string around your finger… whatever you gotta do. These handmade drops go fast.
I think this looks rad and I love what Loulou did with the mixed woods and the fun silhouettes… little UFO dude, tall bean-shaped robot, squat chunky crawler… pure designer toy energy in natural material form. BEEP BOOP vibes only... head on over
