Robert Williams's "Slang Aesthetics!" at Sante Fe's Center for Contemporary Arts!

Robert Williams, the so-called father of pop-surrealism, began his traveling retrospective Slang Aesthetics! in Los Angeles last year. The Albuquerque-born and raised artist will have his first solo exhibition in New Mexico, as the retrospective makes its way to Sante Fe's Center for Contemporary Arts. Including an array of paintings and illustrations spanning Williams's output from 1995 to present, a highlight — for us — are the massive sculptural renditions of his imagery.
