No... your eyes are not playing tricks on you... that figure actually looks like it's melting and Jon-Paul Kaiser worked his magic on the already magical looking KAWS x Robert Lazzarini vinyl figure! This custom reinterpretation of a KAWS companion by the artist Robert Lazzarini, who is well known for his distorted perspectives on familiar objects and art forms. With JPK's painting, he wanted to enhance and exaggerate this warped look even further, as though the flesh of the character itself was twisted and distorted... and above is the result. An awesome custom that really does play tricks on the mind... great stuff! This was created as a private commission and the owner of this piece has got to be stoked on the outcome!
