WHAT'S NEW

EXCLUSIVE: N.C. Winters reveals his real name... his real identity!!!

In a recent turn of events, a long shrouded secret in the art world has now officially been revealed, as artist N.C. Winters decided it was time to finally reveal his real name... his birthright. In a press release that dropped early yesterday morning, N.C.'s Manager states:
In an upcoming expose for Variety Magazine, the true identity of N.C. Winters is revealed. It was only a matter of time before one of the art world's hottest secrets became public knowledge, though Mr. Winters hoped he could maintain his anonymity a little longer.
A completely created name, the surname Winters is derived from the Marvel Comics villain the Living Diamond's real name, Jack Winters. The given name initials of N.C. stand for the artist's real identity: Nicolas Cage.
Born Nicolas Kim Coppola, he changed his name early in his career to avoid the appearance of nepotism, taking the familial name from the Marvel Comics superhero Luke Cage. The Academy award winning actor opted to pursue an art career and, not wanting his fame to influence sales, decided to use the professional name and appearance of N.C. Winters. N.C. was able to change his appearance throughout the years by the tricks he learned while filming the 1997 blockbuster, Face/Off, opposite actor John Travolta.
"I've been terrified when appearing at conventions as Winters for years," Cage remarked on the possibility of being recognized. "Thankfully my acting chops are great enough that I was able to dispel any suspicions."
Whoa... who knew that, the now, Nicolas Cage Winters was related to such royalty in the motion picture industry, and in turn, is actually THE Nicolas Cage!!! We can't blame him for keeping this a secret, but we are really glad you finally came out, Nicolas, and hopefully this will only bolster your already illustrious art career even more!

Please Note: Happy April Fool's Day! The above post is a joke and in no way reflects — to the best of our knowledge — anything that is actually occurring.
