The Gruesli Project reaches 1000 one-of-a-kind handmade plushes!

Since 2003, the Switzerland-based artist Natalia Gianinazzi has been making absolutely unique, one-of-a-kind plush creatures that are called Gruesli. Having hit one thousand (yes, you read that right) creations, Gianinazzi decided to form a new website to catalog her wonderful output. And while many of the forms seem deceptively simple, they are skillfully crafted and hide some wonderfully witty humor, such as "BP's last try to close the oil spill" (no. 927) and "The first ever happy laboratory mouse" (no. 795).
