WHAT'S NEW

Kidrobot @ NYCC 2011

Kidrobot makes their presence know at this years NYCC with a handful of release and first up is a new'ish 7" Labbit designed by South African artist Kronk! What is being billed the "Ever so often things don’t go exactly as planned" Yankee Pig Dog Labbit! This awesomely looking designed Labbit had some issues in the factory and instead of scrapping the entire project Kidrobot is offering these at a discounted rate... but honestly it's still too much money for a faulty item. DKE offers up slightly smudged items in their "Graveyard" sale every year at Designer-Con... and something like this would sell for around $20... even if it is just slightly smudged! I see what Kidrobot is doing, but $70 still seems like too much cash. in any case, these will be available at the con.

Oh my god, they killed Kenny... again!!!!! Dead Kenny is back and taking over NYCC in a very special addition to the South Park and Kidrobot collaborative mini series, Dead Kenny GID Edition is sculpted to look every bit the worse for wear, featuring exposed brains, bloody ribs, authentic cuts, scratches and scrapes, and an arm that falls off the bone. Distressed and decaying! These are really cool looking figure in person and seeing as they are limited to 1,000 pieces, and retailing for $11.95... I am sure these will sell out like the other version did in no time!

Want more Street Fighter... well Kidrobot and Capcom are back with an all new exclusive NYCC limited edition chase figure... the electric-powered Blanka! Resembling more monster than human, Blanka has an in-the-dark glow to navigate his way through the Brazilian jungle. Only 1,000 of these chloro-filled chases made it out of the wild (and to NYCC) for $11.95 a pop!
