*RECAP* Dragatomi's "Vinyl Roots" 3-man show

Just about 2 hours East of San Francisco, the city of Sacramento had their own exciting event happen last night as well, as Dragatomi played host to Kevin Gosslin, J★RYU, and Troy Stith for the three man show titled "Vinyl Roots"! This show feature new works from all three artists who are know for their very organically themed customs in the past, bringing them all under one roof for all to enjoy. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the event, but thanks to the pictures from Dragatomi's Flickr HERE we are able to get a first hand look at some of the pieces, the setup, and those who attended!

Speaking of attendance both Kevin and J★RYU were able to be there for the opening, chatting it up with all those who came out to admire their work. We had previously posted up the works of both Troy HERE and Kevin HERE, but it wasn't until last night that the works of J★RYU were revealed. He took it upon himself to try something different, not in technique but in purpose as the pieces he created were not only art, but they were functional as well! He created a whole line of character based vases, all of which featured his gnarled tree texturing... pretty cool! For those of you who were unable to attend, click HERE to see the preview list for the show and also keep your eyes peeled for the remainder of the artwork to hit the Dragatomi site soon!
