Betso's works for Dragatomi's "5 Eyed Dragon" show
Today we are getting some more previews of some rad customs for Dragatomi's upcoming art show titled "5-Eyed Dragon" going down this Saturday, April 10, 2010, which is going to feature the works of 5 amazing customizers... SouthernDrawl, Betso, DrilOne, Leecifer, and Brent Nolasco. Above are some DOPE customs from Betso... and what can't he make looks good, honestly... from Dunny's to a Skumbo, a Dero, to a CiBoy... not to mention an OG resin bunny piece he has made for this show, theses are all top notch and you can see that these all are unique in their own way yet having that Betso touch we have all grown fond of! One more thing... I absolutely love the usage of teeth, FANTASTIC!

Star Wars MIMOBOT series 5 release
[Press] Devoted to the film that started it all -- STAR WARS: Episode IV A New Hope -- the latest series of classic characters immortalized as USB flash drives includes astromech droid extraordinaire R2-D2 and the shooting-impaired Stormtrooper -- both back by popular demand from the original STAR WARS MIMOBOT series. Two newcomers also join the 2010 series, including that scavenger of the desert, the Jawa, and the fan selection from the first-ever STAR WARS MIMOBOT Audience Choice poll -- Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Patricio Oliver reveals his "Salamandra" sculpt...
Well now that we saw the sculpt of Almond HERE it's only fitting that Patricio Oliver shows us his Salamandra sculpt... and that he has! This fantastic interpretation of a furnace leaps right out of the 2D realm and into 3D seamlessly. This is going to be part of a new vinyl figure set coming out very soon and PO! states "Almond is a young and powerful ginger witch from the Pentacle Village. She channels her magic through fire and flame. She's used a portion of her soul to create Salamandra, an animated humongous guardian beast and furnace." I was totally on board with this sculpt when I first saw the control art, and now seeing the sculpt in all of its glory, I am pot committed! Stay tuned for more updates from PO in the next coming weeks!

*RECAP* Gargamel's "Dai Rakugaki Matsuri" Show at Super7
Thanks once again to Toybot Studios we have an awesome opportunity to view a show that we could not have without their coverage. Last weekend in San Francisco... not only was there Wonder-Con but Super7 had an amazing show titled "Dai Rakugaki Matsuri" which featured figures and paintings by Kiyoka and Naoya Ikeda, KaToPe, Chanmen, and Koji Harmon of Gargamel. Exclusive figure releases will also be on tap, like the Gargamel x Le Merde x Super7 Monster Family GID Zagarad, x KaToPe Drunk Seijin & Pocket Mummy Gator... not to mention live painting, and other surprises! The show was a huge success and the crowd was massive... everyone was jones'in for some authentic Eastern Kaiju and the guest artists sure did not disappoint!

"Emopolis" by Inner-Monster @TeeFury
Transforming robot buildings... who wouldn't want this on their chest? TeeFury is an awesome website that sells T-shirts for $9 a pop...the only catch is that it is only on sale for 24hours and then the next T-shirt is posted up! I have seen awesome shirts by some amazing artists on here and the total purchase price is $11. So that is $9 for the Tee and $2 for the shipping...that is an awesome deal that can't be beat! I will try and post the shirts up daily, or you can go visit the site yourself!
Money does go back to the artist and after today, this t-shirt will be Gone FOREVER! Today artist earns $1 for every tee sold. So make sure you get over there if yer diggin the design!
