UNKL making new vinyl toys with Toynami?

Walking around the isle of comic-con things start to blend together, but when I came across the Toynami booth I spotted something a little to familiar... UNKL!!! Now I am a huge fan of this company and the vinyl figures it produces and alot of us fans have not heard a peap from them about their whereabouts, and now fast forward to SDCC 2010 as they have been picked up by toy powerhouse Toynami. UNKL had on display 3 new figures as well as a shirt. The new characters titled "SearchR" for the SUG line; "Viking" for the Dreamers line; and "Gastro-Normous" for the Dad Gummit Blobs line... which was also released in very limited quantity at the booth.

In chats with the booth manager he mentioned that unlike the mass produced toys that Toynami is known for they are still going to keep the UNKL brand in tact and in line with the designer vinyl scene by only releasing a limited number of figures, he also mentioned that they are working on a mini blind-box series as well as a merchandise deal with Fifth Sun for a line of T-shirts and hoodies. I can't wait to see more!
