Tyler Coey has his first first solo show, and is happy it's in his home town of Kansas City at the
Plenum Space Gallery. The title "Hangin out with monsters" comes simply from the fact that a large portion of the body of work is monster based. Tyler says that "There's some commentary that can be made about wearing "costumes" to fit in, and the social influences of the company we keep around us... but I don't really like to do the conceptual artist BS'ing." His aim with this show is to create a super versatile collection that will be ranging from standard canvas work, to 3D wall projects, to custom toys, as well as even some product including stickers, lunchboxes, and more.
