JT Studio is shaking things up with the debut of ZAIKI – Red of Racer, the first release in their brand-new 8”2GO GAKIRACE series… and honestly, I think this scale choice is seriously cool. While most collectors are already locked into 1/12 scale, JT Studio made the bold move to go bigger, landing at a chunky and super satisfying 1/8 scale that stands right around 7.7" tall. It feels substantial on the shelf and, more importantly, actually fun to handle and pose.

ZAIKI delivers that vibe perfectly with realistic clothing details, expressive interchangeable faces, and clever magnetic engineering that connects the figure seamlessly to his vehicle. The magnetic pedals and shoe soles are such a rad touch and really sell the interaction between rider and machine.

ZAIKI’s expressions are a big highlight here. His personality comes through strong, especially with the DX Deluxe Edition, which includes an exclusive “angry face” emoticon available only during the pre-order window. The deluxe version also adds the SupNitro nitrogen tank and connecting pipes, pushing the racer aesthetic even further. The GOOMP vehicle itself looks killer and is designed specifically for ZAIKI, making the whole setup feel like a complete world rather than just a standalone figure.

Pricing breaks down with the DX Deluxe Edition at $105 USD, which includes ZAIKI, the vehicle, nitrogen tank and connectors, plus the exclusive angry face. The Standard Edition comes in at $59.90 USD and includes ZAIKI with three alternate face emoticons. If you just want the ride, ZAIKI’s vehicle is also available separately for $49.90 USD, though without the nitrogen accessories.
