Lisa Rae Hansen's "Up Up Away Kyoot" Original Superhero Sculpture!

Lisa Rae Hansen describes her "Up Up Away Kyoot" character as "a self-appointed superhero for all things cute." Titled after the Superman declaration "Up, up, and away!" — made famous from the late 1940's serial version where it was uttered — Hansen's character pays respect to his heroic icon by donning "a homemade costume" with "a 'K' sewn on his chest." Of course, he wasn't born with the power of flight, so he "climbed up onto the biggest box he could find, blew the biggest bubble he could in the hopes he would take off into the sky in search of action and adventure!" This one-of-a-kind piece is a mixed media sculpture fabricated from resin and metal. Measuring approximately 7 × 3 × 2 in., it's a fantastically cute work that is available now from HERE for $200.
