Joseph Harmon’s “Wolf Thing Bat Mother” at next Toy Art Gallery show!

Artist Joseph Harmon will be debuting his newest creation, “Wolf Thing Bat Mother,” at the next Toy Art Gallery exhibition opening on August 8th. The pictured piece appears to be cast in two colors of soft vinyl for the show, a dark grey/black and cream/white. I love the totem-esque, stacked sandwich feel of the figure’s body, topped by the monstrous bat head. I especially love how, in this age of 3D sculpted perfection, that this piece really embraces the look — and one can hope feel — of a hand-sculpted work of art.
