WHAT'S NEW

Gary Ham's wooden masterpieces for "The Triplets of Clutterville" with The Loz Boz & Squink!

Gary Ham has been having a stellar year: the success of the Wooper Looper, his work with The Sucklord (Talking Plush and production SuckSet?!?), and Ham's own Monster Toytem too! And, of course, Ham will be part of the previously announced "Triplets of Clutterville" three-person show at The Clutter Gallery alongside the fantastic works of Haus Of Boz and Squink! (show pieces revealed HERE and HERE respectively). Pictured above we have a fantastic flyer concept art drawing, which is part of the show, in which Ham wonderfully reveals the facets of his work alongside that of his exhibition mates! But what you really want to see some reveals of are Ham's original wooden figures, right…
A sampling of pieces from the show, not including the already revealed the "Toy King's Toytem" (HERE), have us meeting "Sylvan" (above left), who I believe is supposed to be a satyr, and "Mickees" (above right), who looks an awful lot like Ham's "Hermees" though with a bit of [insert name of massively sized animation studio's rodent mascot's name here] to him! And let's not forget "Larry Bird" (below left), who looks like an owl in a traditionally ghostly outline! The perfection that Ham is able to accomplish with cel vinyl on wood continues to amaze me; true craftsmanship all around. Though, of course, Ham knocks it out of the park on other mediums as well… like the previously revealed "Worrywart" custom vinyl Fiend figure (revealed HERE) or the "Woopazul" (below right) illustrative drawing of his popular Wooper Looper in a fun little frame!

"The Triplets of Clutterville," a three-person show of new works by Gary Ham, Haus of Boz, and Squink!, will open on Saturday, May 11th a reception from 6-9PM local time and be available for viewing through June 1st, 2013 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
For priority availability to purchase pieces from the show, you should join the preview list HERE.
