A Whale of an Art Toy Tale… Loredanzo x Black Mavis Toys's "KARRI (Skies Ark)" for Popcon ASIA!

Making its painted debut at Popcon ASIA (12-14 August 2016 at the Jakarta Convention Center), artist Loredanzo of Black Mavis Toys has hit designer toy gold with his "KARRI" resin figure. Having a simple, manga-derived whale as the base, the 2⅓-inch tall, 4⅓-inch long, and 3⅛-inch wide "KARRI" transcends its roughly hewn form and becomes a hauntingly cute character. Featuring a modular topper part, a Noah's Ark like structure for this "Skies Ark" edition, the fact that each version can feature a unique element like this is fantastic. Limited to only 10 pieces in this rendition, those interested should go to Black Mavis's Popcon ASIA Booth G15, or cross their fingers that some remain after the convention.
