We meet Aaron Thomas at the beginning of this year, and he did a stellar pair of custom DC Shoes for our Kicks show. After seeing his work, we immediately knew that we had to show more of his stuff. Subtext will be hosting a solo exhibition this September for Aaron, in which he will no doubt deliver some more insane pieces! Thomas is an Art Center graduate, and currently a footwear designer at DC Shoes. His work is character-driven, meticulously executed, and a great example of pop surrealism at it’s finest.
