Clutter Gallery Presents [IN]Action Figures 13… A Celebration of Bootlegs, Customs, and Toy Culture!

If you’re a fan of bootlegs, customs, and the beautifully weird side of toy culture… then Clutter Gallery’s legendary [IN]Action Figures exhibition is back for its 13th installment, and it’s shaping up to be another wild ride through the raw and unfiltered world of action figure art. Opening Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 6pm to 9pm, [IN]Action Figures 13 returns to Clutter Gallery inside The KuBe Art Center in Beacon, New York, bringing together an impressive lineup of artists who thrive on bending, breaking, and completely reinventing the traditional action figure format.

For those unfamiliar with the series, [IN]Action Figures has built a reputation for celebrating the underground side of toy design… where bootlegs, customs, kitbashes, and re-engineered figures become powerful creative statements. Rather than focusing on polished commercial releases, the show embraces experimentation… altered plastics, Frankensteined toy parts, repainted classics, and entirely new creations born from the DNA of action figure culture.

Bootlegging, in many ways, strips the process down to its most honest form. It removes the polish, removes the permission, and gives artists a direct channel to collectors. What emerges is something raw, immediate, and incredibly personal… and that energy has made this show a favorite among fans of DIY toy culture.

This year’s exhibition features a stacked lineup of artists from across the bootleg and custom toy world including: aloudspacelab, Angry Beast, Barbarian Rage, barretticus, Bombermat Toys, Buzzard Guts (D.A. Marx), Carolina Cool Cat, Chester Greenbag, Chewsplastik, Disgustin Justin Art & Toys, DLL Customs, Dollar Slice Bootlegs, Falcontoys, FATOH, Figure Fettish, Fresh Toast, Grayskull, Hands of Doom, Kjelshus Collins, Lab Monkey Number 9, Lisa Rae Hansen, LRH_Bootlegs, Monsta Toys, Musculiods, Nama Niku, Nekosatsu Toys, Nikster Productions, Randomskullproductions, Ron Reeves, Seth Relentless, Snapp Fink Toys, SUCKADELIC, TONE TANK, Whistling Pony Toys, Wicked Joyful and more. What an awesome lineup!!!

Adding to the energy of the opening night, Clutter will also be hosting a live podcast during the reception, with more details on that coming soon. The opening reception takes place Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 6pm to 9pm at Clutter Gallery inside The KuBe Art Center, located at 20 Kent Street in Beacon, New York.
