Tanglehug Lands… Phil Huelz Drops a Limited Love Monster You Can Actually Hold!
If your shelves have been craving something weird, warm, and wonderfully huggable, Phil Huelz has you covered. His new limited art toy, Tanglehug, is dropping HERE this Friday, November 21 at 19:00 CET / 10:00 AM PT, and I honestly think this might be one of the sweetest little resin weirdos to hit the scene in a while. Tanglehug is all personality… a chunky red creature wrapped around itself, flashing a peace sign with one hand and stretching out its big dark-purple toes like it’s totally at home wherever you place it. The sculpt feels super playful but intentional, and I love how it fits into that hand-drawn, doodle-heavy world Phil often builds in his illustration work. This piece comes in at around 15cm tall (roughly 6" in height), making it the perfect mid-size art toy — big enough to stand out on a shelf, but small enough to tuck into a favorite nook in your studio or workspace.
Each Tanglehug is studio-cast in resin, signed and numbered, and limited to just 15 pieces worldwide. Pricing is set at €199 for EU buyers (including VAT) and $229 for the rest of the world, and every figure arrives tucked inside a satin artist pouch that really leans into the “art object” presentation. There’s also a limit of 1 per buyer, so everyone has a fair shot at grabbing this little ambassador of good vibes. Phil describes the mission behind Tanglehug as simple and powerful: “spread love you can hold.” And honestly, that’s exactly what this design feels like… a tangible reminder to slow down, breathe, and wrap yourself (and others) in a bit more kindness.
You can keep up with the drop and future releases on Phil’s Instagram at @phil.huelz - and check out more of his work at huelz.art. If you’re into art toys with heart, this is definitely one to jump on before all 15 get hugged into someone else’s collection.
