VTSS Toys x Jonas Dinges - "The Seer" figure teased

Everyone loves Star Wars and there's probably way too many licensed products saturating the market. Yea, you heard me. Too. Many. There's SW 1/6 figures. 1/6 SW Masterpiece dioramas. SW tribute shows. SW bootlegs. SW art toys. Save your judgemental looks; I haven't told you the most shocking bit yet.

I have not watched the movies... Not in its entirety.

I clearly have watched bits of it for I fondly remember the Ewok village, and I know about the shocking dark secret through memes but other than these nuggets, I'm as good as Jon Snow. I'm just not a syfy kind of guy. So, I'm all excited when VTSS dropped Jonas Dinges' "The Brute" (below), a beautifully muscled Dwarven warrior of polygonal proportions. The colours and tones scream traditional pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons and every inch of this imposing polystone figure would have perfectly complemented whatever nonsense I hoard in my room. The Brute simply dominates. 

I'm still waiting for the right month to splurge $220USD on low poly art toy and the announcement of a follow up figure is just adding fuel to the desire! The Seer is every bit a stereotypical Raistlin - foregoing strength for limitless magical power, all wrapped under the robes of mystery. The non-youthful face, the hunched posture, tell the story of the classic antihero, sealing his inescapable fate of tragic sacrifices and moral losses. 

Perhaps, when a Half-Elven Druidess slips into this adventuring fellowship, my resolve would be a puddle on the floor but for now, I'm just going to drool from a distance.
