Goto-san × Studio Uamou's "Half Galaxy" custom collaboration on TKOM's "DoubleThink!"

The living legend and Master painter Goto-san, who has been hand-painting Japanese vinyl toys for production studios & individuals alike for over 60 years, works with Ayako Takagi of Studio UAMOU on the above pictured "Half Galaxy" one-of-a-kind collaborative piece. Executed on an 11-inch tall "DoubleThink" soft vinyl figure, designed by fiberglass sculptor Takahiro Komuro / TKOM, this piece features a beautiful balance of the leg-chain, re-situated into his hand, with one of Takagi's "Bastard" figures in the other.

The "DICHO TOMY " group exhibition, featuring strictly customs of Takahiro Komuro / TKOM's "DoubleThink" vinyl figure, will open on Saturday, February 21st with a reception from 7-10PM and be on display until March 14th, 2015 at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
