Secret Base's "Japanese Devil" show at Toy Art Gallery!

Oh… My… God! Yes, the one and only Secret Base — the elusive mavericks of the Japanese toy scene — have teamed up with Toy Art Gallery (TAG) for the brand's very first West Coast art exhibition. Not only will Hiddy of Secret Base be in attendance, but he's bringing along Hiroshi and the Three Tides Tattoo crew! The show will feature a retrospective of the massive Secret Base catalog, on loan from Carl Kent-Smith, and the release of several new exclusive pieces. Oh yes… The debut of the Hiroshi designed "Karakasa Obake" figure (which is a Secret Base & TAG co-production) as well as exclusive editions of: Ganji-Obake Dog, The Salvation Ink, 1/1 Skull Head, Super Size Me and more! Plus there will be original art, limited edition prints, and an exclusive limited apparel release as well. This show is not to be missed.

"Japanese Devil" opens on Saturday, July 7th at 7-10PM with line tickets being given out starting at 12 Noon. The show runs from July 7th through July 28th, 2012 at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046. Any exclusive merchandise that does not sell out opening night will be available from the TAG online store starting Sunday, July 8th.
