The traveling "Custom Yoka Show" is making a stop @ Genuine Artikle on 6/5/10

AdFunture provided their 3” blank Yoka bear vinyl figures and DKE Toys co-founders Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks found over 200 artists to participate in the Custom Yoka Show. Featuring work from 20 countries the show turns the quirky little bear into everything from a dirty thug to a sweet snail in this tremendous exhibition... which has made stops at the Black Maria Gallery in California, Rivet Gallery in Ohio, Howl Gallery in Florida, and now it's on it way up to Genuine Artikle in New York, with the opening date on June 5th! Unlike the previous show, the show at Genuine Artikle is going to feature not only the 3" Bears, but a handful of artists were hand picked to do the larger counterpart, a 10" Yoka! This show is of MASSIVE proportions, and it's really cool to see how every artists interprets the same shape differently! This is kicking off at 8pm - 11pm and will feature over 200 pieces from some amazing artists!
