SPOTTED: Otto Bjornik × Kidrobot’s “Shah Mat” Dunny Chess Set!

We first spotted Philippines-based artist Otto Björnik's "Shah Mat" Dunny chess set series at New York's Toy Fair, but now it seems that Woot Bear has copies of the Kidrobot vinyl figure series in-hand and they are willing to share more pics! And do you notice that knight figure above? It's a freakin' four-legged centaur in armor with a lance accessory! Yes, this series just keeps getting better. Sold as a blind box series, each "Shah Mat" box will include two Dunnys (one black or white pawn and one mystery royalty Dunny) as well as a piece of an interlocking plastic chessboard! With a complete Master Set (all 32 pieces needed to play) available to preorder for $500, we can't wait for July 10th, 2016 to come so that we can enjoy these marvelous $20 apiece blind boxes!
