Lights, Camera, Action! Kidrobot to be made into a film?!?

No, this is not a belated April Fool's post… MGM Studios have acquired the film rights to Kidrobot! How they will transform the art toy brand into a film is nebulous, though they have hired Matt Ember & Tom Astle — the team behind the DreamWorks Animation hit Home — to write the script. Set to "mix animation and live action," we suspect that the motion picture will be more akin to The Lego Movie, featuring licensed and company owned properties in their own world tackling a threat, rather than a biopic about the companies creation, a la The Social Network. According to Kidrobot founder Paul Butnitz's current website (see HERE), he "is currently helping create" the Kidrobot feature film.
