AVAILABLE TODAY: Mondo Toys's 16-inch tall "Iron Giant" Action Figure with 30+ points of articulation!

We're absolutely thrilled that Mondo Toys are giving us something we always longed for: merchandise related to the Iron Giant. Having received the digital files used in the film from director Brad Bird and Warner Bros., Mondo has as authentically re-created the central robot from the film as one ever possibly could. Enlisting Klim over at Bigshot Toyworks to prototype the piece, this 16-inch tall action figure features over 30 points of articulation, two interchangeable heads with light-up eyes, a magnetic "S" that can detached from its sign and attached to the figure's chest, an interchangeable 'war arm,' a Hogarth mini figure, and even a girder for him to munch on! Heck, this figure even includes a sound feature, with Iron Giant quotes from the film! In addition to the $300 apiece figure, there is also a limited deluxe version — made in an edition of 250 copies — that comes with the 'hand under foot' accessory (pictured far bottom) for $315 apiece. Expected to ship in the 3rd Quarter of 2015, these will be available for preorder today (January 22nd, 2015) in Mondo's web shop and the exact release time will be announced on Mondo's Twitter feed.
