I was waiting to post this up for just the right moment, and seeing as we just announced HERE the official Kickstarter for OMFG! Series 3 (go and fund them), why not show you the awesomeness that is OMFG! Series 2... so away we go! This project originated from the fabulous group of artists, designers, and toy enthusiasts that have gathered at the October Toys/Toy Break forum (http://www.octobertoys.com/forum)... and just like last time - the successful campaign to produce the first OMFG! series - hundreds of character ideas were submitted from all around the world, the forum voted for their favorite designs, and series 2 consists of five figures including: "Puke Knight" designed and sculpted by Jared DeCosta (aka redjarojam) from Massachusetts, "Shirtle" designed by Kenjitron from Hawaii and sculpted by George Gaspar from Los Angeles, "Cry-Borg" designed by Andrew Scribner (aka RuFuS) from Rhode Island, "Cuddlehard" designed and sculpted by turboPISTOLA from Tennessee, "Grimm Gourd" concept by ScruffyNerfHrdr from Kansas, designed by Charles Marsh (aka Monsterforge) from South Carolina, and sculpted by Mike Fleming Jr (aka M-Flem-Jr) from Colorado, and a latecomer to the OMFG! Series 2 party... kinda an honorable mention member, "Mini-Deadbeet" concept from Scott Tolleson and sculpted by George Gaspar. This cast of characters has seen a ton of different colorways released so far, with others on the horizon... and I had a chance to sit down and show off the majority of these figures as store exclusives in the above LIVE video review... so give it a watch!

As you can very well see from the photo above, this Second series has some awesome colorways out, and they are all supported by many designer toy shops in terms of exclusive versions (Listed Below). Most of these colors are still up for grabs and the figures themselves are highly detailed mini-sculpts that measure no more than 2" tall, and harken back to the 80's M.U.S.C.L.E. style figures. It's really cool to see all of the designs emerge, and there are some really strong ones in this series... and if I had to pick the best out of the 5 figs, my favorite would have to be "Shirtle". Keep in mind, that all of them had to get the most votes, and there were something like 400+ submissions that went into voting... so the strong survived! Like mentioned above, OMFG! Series 3 is up HERE right now for funding, OMFG! Series 4 is now in full submission swing HERE, and this OMFG! Series 2 is out now for public consumption... and at around $10-$15 a pack... you can't just buy one colorway. On that note, hit up the link below to the respective color/store exclusive.
