You don't really hear a lot of songs regarding "Burny the Dragon," which could be because he looks like some magnificent terror that Godzilla would duke it out with or maybe it's because of those serious scars across his eye. And while "Burny" might not be a famous dragon, he is Hoakser's custom Kracka for the "
Dragons" group show/charity auction event. The entire platform was heavily sculpted on using air dry clay and then those wonderful wings — which came from another figure — were reformed to fit this design. The texturized leather hide looks impressive enough, but that paint job is truly slick… lots of nice gradiation and smooth tonal melds. Impressive looking indeed and we even get treated to a nice video showing the evolution in stages…

The SHO Gallery, The Coach House, 1A Inverness Place, Roath, Cardiff, CF24 4RU, UK. After the launch, all the pieces will be placed up for seven day auction on eBay, with all proceeds being donated to DiabetesUK.
